Stacey & Stacey was first established in Townsville in 1919 in the upstairs section of the then Commonwealth Bank in Flinders Street by two Stacey brothers. Today, Stacey & Stacey operate from three Townsville locations and Charters Towers.

Services

Stacey & Stacey Optometrists provide specialist services such as a Sports Vision Assessment, Visual Field Assessment, Digital Photography, Behavioural Optometry and Perceptual Testing for Children. Stacey & Stacey offer full scope optometry at each of our four branches.

Each practice is registered for Quality in Practice Accreditation to ensure continued delivery of the highest standard of professional care. We are a member of Diabetes Australia and offer a comprehensive eye health assessment for diabetics. Each of our practices is up to date with the latest techniques and instrumentation for vision examinations.

Consultations are direct billed to Medicare where applicable.

Stacey & Stacey offer an extensive range of cutting edge fashion eyewear to suit all budgets and lifestyles.

Our onsite HICAPS system makes processing payments for spectacles, contact lenses and consultations easier than ever. We can process Cash, EFTPOS and major credit cards as well as claim your optical benefit directly from your private health fund. You only need to pay the gap - no forms to complete and no waiting for your refund cheque.

Stacey & Stacey Optometrists were the first Townsville optometrist to be awarded QIP accreditation status in October 2004. We are a MBF MemberCare Optical Provider. This means extra rebates for all MBF members and a range of no-gap products available.
